Secondary Curriculum

Junior High School Grade 7, 8 and 9
The school offers a range of UK Cambridge subjects, including First Language English (FLE), English as a Second Language (ESL), Mathematics, Science, Global Perspectives and Geography. This indicates a focus on internationally recognized qualifications. Chinese Mandarin instruction follows the Cambridge and Chinese curricula. This suggests a commitment to developing students' Mandarin skills. The local subjects include Bahasa Indonesia (BI), PKn/PP, PE, Art & Craft and Music. Assessments
Economics, Accounting and Business Studies are additional Cambridge subjects in Grade 10. In Grade 11 and Grade 12, students choose between Science (IPA) and Social Science (IPS) streams. International Assessments: As a registered Cambridge International School, SCS has two Cambridge examination centres, ID 408 and ID295.

SStudents take IGCSE exams in a range of subjects including English (both ESL and FLE), Mathematics, the Sciences (Physics, Chemistry and Biology), Business Studies, Economics and Chinese Mandarin (either as a Foreign Language or as a Second Language).

AS Level and A Level conducted by Cambridge Assessment International Education, a department of University of Cambridge

Students progress to the AS Level exams in Grade 11 focusing on English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology (for the Science stream) and Business Studies and Economics (for the Social Science stream).

Students have the option to continue to the ful A Level examination in Grade 12. This allows them to deepen their knowledge in their chosen subjects.

ID295 can also accommodate exams in subjects not taught within the SCS curriculum, further expanding its accessibility to internal and external candidates.
